Tešḫa

Anatolia has been a land of sorrow and joy for many millennia. Tešḫa means dream in ancient Hittite. Birth, union, victory, celebration of life, and spring, as well as war, loss of land, and loss of loved ones. It has also been a bridge between cultures, a melting pot of beliefs and hope. I often find myself dreaming what comes next faster than I can conceive it. My soul stirs with ideas and desires so quickly they are hard to tell apart. Clarity blurs. These are some of my dreams, frozen mid-process. The seeds of my intuition, caged in a labyrinth of thought and interpretation that forms around the divine channeling. When my pencil flowed over the paper, it felt like sketching a landscape while flying very fast on autopilot. You have to fly high, like an eagle, so the ground feels slow, almost frozen from that distance.
