Karuilieš, the ones of old, in Hittite. They came to me as a group, and as I sketched them we began forming a relationship.…
I could feel how old they were. Beyond ancient.
They did deeds worth remembering, elders who kept the wisdom that keeps life flowing. They have been forgotten for a very long time.
Through these pieces they wake once more, and ask to be remembered. Talismans of life, protection, and compassion.
