Ḫašḫa
(Mother)
The mother, the loving cycle that has no end.

Series · 2026 — 2027
For a long time after I made these, I didn't know what they were. I sketched them together as a calling, and only later, once I brought them into 3D and played with color and material, did I realize they were my mother and my father.
The flows and the architecture mapped onto how I hold these two people, who they've been to me, how they showed up in my life. The series is called Ata, ancestors in Turkish, where I keep giving shape to my biological and chosen lineage, and those beyond the human.
(Mother)
The mother, the loving cycle that has no end.
(Father)
The father, grounded, just, holding the family steady.
(Ancients)
The ancient ones, asking to be seen and remembered.
((Ancients, continued))
A continuation of the ancient ones — studies and framed works extending the Karuilieš lineage.
