Ugra
For these I work with animal bone, epoxy clay, and acrylic paint. Metal wires hold the bones, then the clay grows out of them and the pieces tell me how they want to be shaped.
I'm just the vessel for them to come to life. In my experience they pierce the veil and gaze into our world, reminding us they're here and watching over us.
They are fiercely loving, and they protect us from ourselves. I called the series Ugra, which means fierce or formidable in Sanskrit.
